The Family Room is located in northwest Evanston on the west end of the Central Street business district, between Green Bay Road and Crawford Avenue. We are next door to The Mitchell Museum of The American Indian, with free parking in the rear (enter from Central Park Avenue).

The CTA bus #201 Central/Ridge route stops near our front door and can be picked up at Howard Street, downtown Evanston, both Central Street train stations (el and Metra) and the Old Orchard shopping center, as well as along Ridge Avenue in Evanston. It runs every 15 to 20 minutes. We are not walking distance from either the CTA el or Metra train stations on Central Street.
